Rumour Entertainments & Events started life as an entertainment agency and has over the years expanded and diversified by providing venue dressing and other services for weddings and events of all kinds. With many years experience in the entertainment, wedding and events industry we have continued to flourish and since our formation our commitment to our clients has been the basis of our continued success.
Whether we are supplying quality live entertainment to a hotel, live music venue or private event, creating the wow factor for a bride and groom at there wedding venue with our venue dressing services or offering a full event management package to a corporate client for there conference or staff awards evening, we have a highly efficient experienced friendly knowledgeable team working from our offices and warehouse facility in Audenshaw Greater Manchester.

Wayne Williams

Managing Director

Wayne first took to the "decks" at a local club aged twelve. From that day he became a regular DJ on the local scene. His many appearances at top venues, and the organising of events for blue chip companies throughout the North West gave him the experience in many aspects of the industry.

The knowledge he gained, coupled with being so highly regarded and respected in the industry saw Wayne putting his expertise into opening up "Rumour". His dedication, ambition and hard work has brought about the continued growth of the company.

Alison Williams

Weddings & Event Manager

Alison is an experienced former dancer and choreographer who is now established in her role as Weddings & Events manager at Rumour.

Looking after a highly conscientious and creative team of venue dressers Alison has a strong eye for detail and her professional approach and warm and friendly manner certainly puts all our clients at ease .

Joanne Rowbottom

Entertainment & Weddings Administrator

With 12 years experience in customer care, Joanne has been an integral part of our team for almost 2 years. With her friendly and professional approach, with our clients, new and old, she advocates our primary ethos of providing excellent customer service.

Without a doubt Joanne is an important asset to our team providing passion and care throughout the workplace.

Helen Bergin

Account & Office Manager

With 10 years experience in the entertainment industry, Helen is our office manager who looks after the team and also our accounts department; Her previous managerial background helps Helen implement new ideas to develop the company further.

Helens' professional approach and guidance towards staff, clientele and suppliers is paramount to the success of the business.
