Rumour Entertainments & Events started life as an entertainment agency and has over the years expanded and diversified by providing venue dressing and other services for weddings and events of all kinds. With many years experience in the entertainment, wedding and events industry we have continued to flourish and since our formation our commitment to our clients has been the basis of our continued success.
Whether we are supplying quality live entertainment to a hotel, live music venue or private event, creating the wow factor for a bride and groom at there wedding venue with our venue dressing services or offering a full event management package to a corporate client for there conference or staff awards evening, we have a highly efficient experienced friendly knowledgeable team working from our state of the art offices and warehouse facility in Audenshaw Greater Manchester.


Wayne Williams

Managing Director

Wayne first took to the "decks" at a local club aged twelve. From that day he became a regular DJ on the local scene. His many appearances at top venues, and the organising of events for blue chip companies throughout the North West gave him the experience in many aspects of the industry.

The knowledge he gained, coupled with being so highly regarded and respected in the industry saw Wayne putting his expertise into opening up "Rumour". His dedication, ambition and hard work has brought about the continued growth of the company.

Alison Williams

Weddings & Event Manager

Alison is an experienced former dancer and choreographer who is now established in her role as Weddings & Events manager at Rumour.

Looking after a highly conscientious and creative team of venue dressers Alison has a strong eye for detail and her professional approach and warm and friendly manner certainly puts all our clients at ease .

Chris Williams

Technical & DJ Manager

Chris is our technical and dj manger, while he is not looking after our talented rosta of highly professional djs or filling dancefloors himself throughout the north west in his role as a Rumour DJ, he can either be found in our warehouse looking after and maintaining all our sound and lighting equipment or out at a corporate event with one of our event teams in charge of sound and lighting.

Helen Bergin

Account & Office Manager

Helen is responsible for all things accounts related, she is also our office manager and since being in her role her professional approach has helped implement new ideas which have advanced the companies development
