Jonathan Davies MBE

Jonathan Davies is a Welsh Rugby legend. His career began in Rugby Union, where he excelled as fly-half for Neath and Llanelli. He was later appointed captain of the Welsh national side

He shocked the sporting world in 1989 when he switched codes and made the leap to Rugby League where he signed for Widnes. The switch was such a huge success that he is now unique in the world, having captained his country in both Rugby Union and Rugby League.
He also played Rugby League for Great Britain 13 times and for Wales six times before moving back to his roots and playing Rugby Union for Cardiff. Jonathan has been awarded an MBE for his services to rugby and works as a pundit for the BBC covering both codes of the game.
